I went out today to listen to a cappella music in Yotsuya with my friend.
The songs were sung by students from nine universities around Tokyo area.
I was really amazed to listen to a cappella; not only songs but accompaniments such as guitar sounds and the percussion were played by people's voice.
They were just great!
I was well enjoyed listening to perfect harmony and getting much energy out of young people! :D
Oh, do you like flute orchestras? That's a shame your daughter doesn't like it; that means she doesn't want to be a member of such a group, right?
I once listened to four flutists play in an ensemble and it was really nice.
I couldn't hear any sounds of other instruments, though.
When we chant "baion shoumyou" in yoga practice, I sometimes hear other sounds apart from our voice. :D
There are no instruments for cappella, but we can feel as if we listened to the orchestra.
Personally,I like the flute orchestra.
Many flutists play the music together.
I can hear other instruments' tunes such as violins, tubas...
That is a really strange feeling.
( My daughter doesn't like the flute orchestra..)
Thanks much for your comment; it's really unlikely you stayed home all morning yesterday!
It's just great you still study English to improve your proficiency more. I admire you a lot. :D
It was really nice to have something new to change my daily life.
I've also learned a lot from young people's enthusiasm for music; they well enjoyed performing without being embarrassed.
Their talks were also nice and warm, and bit funny. Oh, I'd like to talk funny things like them! :D
I'm glad to hear you've had another great day listening to a cappella by young university students.
You really deserve such enjoyment because you're leading a busy daily life on a regular basis.
Personally, I didn't have a morning practice of table tennis today because of the national holiday, and I stayed all morning at home studying English.
I had an afternoon practice all right, so I had a great time hitting a small ball to my heart's content.
See you later.
