There is still pumpkin pie left. I would give you some but you're not here. Lol.
I think salesperson is the more commonly used term nowadays, but both salesperson and salesman would be correct. ^^
I had to look up some of the kanji in the book. Thank goodness for the furigana! I was trying to choose a challenging book because the books I already had were for little kids and they were getting really easy for me~. When I was practicing reading hiragana in middle school, I was reading a Japanese elementary school math book! Hehe. ^^ It really helped me learn to read Japanese more quickly and naturally. I read the book dozens of times until I'd almost memorized it!
My dad works for a food truck company. His job is to go around in the company truck selling food door-to-door. They had a contest to see who could sell the most that week, and my dad worked really hard to convince people to buy things until he won! ^^
Oh, we still have some pumpkin pie left over. I was just about to go eat some before bed. ^^
Ah, that's cool. ^^ Practicing so hard, you'll definitely do great at that concert!
Oh, that reminds me. I just finished reading a book in Japanese. It's called "オムレツ屋へようこそ!" and I chose it because it had a lot of furigana. ^^ However, I didn't understand a lot of what I was reading! I understood enough to get the general idea, though. I guess. Lol.
Yes, chocolate eggs are chocolate candies shaped like eggs and filled with some sort of cream. My mom loves them a lot! ^^ And my dad won a ham in a contest this year. We are also eating pumpkin pie. It is Easter morning now, and the kitchen smells wonderful! ^^
Thank you! I read the word 聞き飽きた somewhere, so I thought that 書き飽きた might be a word, too. ^^ Lol. It was just a guess; I just recently learned the word 飽きる.
Btw, Carrie! Do you know Anne of Green Gables? My mom loves those books. Recently she rented all the movies and Gina and I have been watching them. I don't understand why Anne doesn't like her red hair; red hair is the rarest and very beautiful! ^^
I'm sorry that I made a visit but didn't say a word lmao, anyways
I'm pretty good babe! wbu?
yeah, it really been a long long long time ago since we last talked!
I'm just busy you know, cause I'm a senior and it's my last year of school
so I have to deal with a lot of stuff but atm, I'm having a spring break and I thought
why not come to nicotto since it been a long time?
So do I and my mom! Nobody can read the one without being moved.
Ah~You had many budgies, when you were a kid, so you would move to a lot of tears.
I've never had a bird, because my mom don't like birds, but she told me "I got to like birds by reading the one, so I don't want to turn the last page!"
So we love "Alex and me" but I'm sorry to make you feel so sentimental.
Heh, yup! It's like how we say, "Misery loves company." ^^
That's true! I've learned new words from listening to Japanese music. Whenever I learn a new Japanese song, I try translating it, and learn unfamiliar words by looking them up. Sometimes if I forget a Japanese word, I remember a song that used it and sing part of the song to myself until I know the word. ^^
Oh, yes, my headache got better. Actually my mom had a headache at the same time so we suffered together. Lol. ^^
I like listening to them in Japanese because I want to see how much I understand. I'm used to hearing them in English (and most things in English) so it's not as interesting.
Also I think the Japanese language is so pretty, even in translations. ^^ It's soothing to listen to!
I think many people enjoy listening to songs in foreign languages because they sound different and interesting. ^^
Oh, yes! I like that song too. I think it is a Disney song.
I listened to "Part Of Your World" from The Little Mermaid, "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" from The Lion King, "When Will My Life Begin" from Tangled, and "A Whole New World" from Aladdin. The one I understood most was A Whole New World. ^^
Well, on Nicotto Town, I don't have to look up words very often because I tend to talk about the same kinds of things and use the same words over and over.
But when it comes to understanding what others are saying, they use lots of words I haven't learned. I get totally lost!
I really want to try taking a Japanese class, but the only one around here is full of adults! It makes me nervous. >.<
I think my Japanese in the dream was better in the dream than in real life. My dream self knew what my family was saying instinctively, even though I probably didn't know many words!
Yes, telepathy! That must've been it! Lol. ^^
Although I've improved a lot at putting together sentences in Japanese, I still often have to look up the words. I feel like I'm in a bit of a rut, because I forget words even when I look them up a few times. I want to learn more vocabulary. I tried this app on my phone, which was a Japanese vocabulary game. I completed all the levels in a few hours! Then I felt stuck again. O.o
I dreamt that I woke up one morning to find that everyone in my family was speaking Japanese! Even my dog was speaking Japanese! I understood a lot of what they were saying (more than I'd expect) but I was really confused by it. I asked them why they were speaking Japanese, and my mom laughed and said that she was testing my Japanese skills. She said, "Your friend Carrie called me and told me to do it!" You were in my dream, Carrie! But it still doesn't make sense because my family doesn't speak much Japanese at all. Lol. ^^
The people of my area must be love birds.^^
Actually, "アレックスと私" is 4 and "鳥の不思議な生活" is only 2 in my area.
So I can borrowed "アレックスと私" easily, so my mom's read the one.
There was a St. Patrick's Day parade today, and my friend got to go, but I didn't get to today. But there's a lot of parades; I want to go to the one that's in the neighboring city. ^^
Yes, those chocolate golden coins! For St. Patrick's Day they also throw out some lucky green coins. ^^
If I cannot get on to the flight to Tokyo, I think I will just fly back to Hong Kong..
As Easter holiday is coming soon, there will be more people travelling,
so fingers cross, and wish me good luck. ><
If I made it to Tokyo, I will arrive on the 18/3, and probably leaving on the 21/3 or 22/3.
Do you think any chance that we can meet up together? ^ ^
Hi Carrie~
Sorry for reply that late..
Yes, I holiday is coming soon! ^ ^
My original planning is to go to Nagoya, Kanazawa, Takayama and Shirakawa for 9 days with my mum. (From 23/3 - 31/3)
Then my mum will be leaving on the 31/3 and I will be travelling on my own for 3days in Kyoto.
And on the 3/4, my friend will be fly to Kyoto and join me for a 6 days trip to Kyoto and Osaka.
And we will be leaving on the 8/4.
I noticed that just before my trip to Nagoya (23/3), I have plenty of days off.
So I am thinking of making a 3 or 4 days trip to Tokyo!
I'm planning to fly from London to Tokyo on the 17/3 using a staff discount ticket.
However, our staff ticket is a standby ticket, therefore it is not a guarantee one..
It depends on the passengers loading, if its full, I will have to wait for the next flight.
And if every single flight are full, the worst case will be have to try another day.. :'(
Oh, you are going to have a concert!
My daughter and I are going to arie's daughter's concert in April.
Enjoying her music and seeing him make me excited!
I have joined SESS for five years and I finally listens to him speaking in Japanes for the first time :D
I hope I go to your concert and invite you to my daughter's concert one day.

When I heard "Snowball", that reminded me of "Alice in wonderland", so I guessed "Snowball" is a cat.
Wow! "Snowball" is a cockatoo and What a funky bird that is!
If Snowball had lived in my home,Snowball would've danced with my brother.^^
Thank YOU for always!

無言訪問になっちゃいそうだわ^^;
体力つけて乗り切ろうと思っています。早起きも辛い。。。
Also, I listened to some Disney songs in Japanese today. I understood more than I expected to! I love Disney, especially Japanese Disney. ^^
But when it comes to understanding what others are saying, they use lots of words I haven't learned. I get totally lost!

本当にいい本です。おすすめです。
今日の衣装もきまってますね(^_-) とっても素敵です。
ネタを探る前に寒さで不調に陥りました。。。
でもこれもネタにできないか考えてますw
実際そんな余裕はなさそうですが(泣)
