arie told me that you came to the circle cafe toda.
I couldn't join you on time due to my over time work, I really miss you!
Today, we had new two members, Hana and Luna.
Hana is a high school student and a cheerful girl.
Luna is a nice lady and easy to get along.
I like them, they are very nice.
They told us that they had lived in foreing country, so they use English very well.
I bet you will like them soon!
Yeah... I was actually directly confronted about it. We had a conversation about what the perfect date would be like, and then the question came up: "Would you go on a date with me?" I almost had a heart attack, but I said yes anyway! But I got a very ambiguous response and further questions... and then she changed the subject. She didn't say if she wants to go on a date with me, too... hm. I wonder if she's just not sure. She once told me that she thought I'd be the perfect girlfriend for her! I'm not sure what to think anymore, lol. ^^'
Is Kewpie the baby doll? I think it's really cute, and I don't think that your forehead it too large. ^ ^
I've just checked, and my next leave will be on the 7th of Sep, until the 27th.
So I think I will be able to come! ^ ^
Looking forward for September! ^ ^
Summer is coming soon, and I'm planning to go for strawberry picking~
Have you tired strawberry picking before? ^ ^
Yup, it was a good movie~. ^^ So many cute pandas! I love pandas sooo much. ♥ I want to hug one! ^^
Yeah, I had to finish the homework within two weeks, because after that, the book had to be returned to the library so that other students could get theirs done. All I had to do was read it and fill out a worksheet on it, so it wasn't too hard. ^^
Oh, I remember you talking about seeing repeating digits everywhere. And then you asked me what they are called in English, and I told you they are called repdigits. ^^
Oh, crocs! Those used to be so popular here. I have them in blue, white, and maybe also pink... I can't remember because I haven't worn them in a long time. I love them, but they went out of fashion and now people make fun of those who wear them! So I don't wear mine anymore, except to the pool, which isn't often. It's too bad they're not still popular here. >.<
Yeah, Americans probably need bigger feet to support the extra weight from their height! My mom's feet look much bigger than mine, and my dad's look huge... I don't think either of them could ever find shoes in Japan, and my mom's feet seem like a normal size!
...Okay, I just took one of my dad's shoes and measured it, and it's 34cm! Wow! I was actually thinking it'd be even longer than that though. Lol. ^^
Oh, angel numbers are repeating digits, right? ^^ Are they lucky?
Ah, it's funny that our weight changed in the same way! I am 160cm tall. Or maybe 159cm? I can't tell. I am one of the shorter girls at my school; the average height of a girl here is about 164cm. But I have a friend who is only 155cm, and she is made fun of for being short.
My shoe size is close to yours too; it's 23cm. Indeed, my feet are much smaller than most girls my age. I think a lot of Americans would have difficulty finding shoes to fit them in Japan!
I've also heard that Japanese shoes are more narrow, which would be no good for me, because I like wide shoes. I get my shoes in 'extra wide', but I wonder if they even make those in Japan. It's not that my feet are wider than average; it's just that wider ones are more comfortable for me. ^^
You should see my dad's feet. They are huge! Lol. ^^ He is also very tall.
Oh, I looked up gate ball and it said that it was very similar to croquet. I wonder if there's any difference at all!
My mom said that she weighed about the same as me when she was a teenager, but she became overweight when she was an adult. She says she thinks it's because she became pregnant with me. (It's all my fault! Lol.) But I don't plan on getting pregnant someday, so maybe I will not become overweight. I wonder! I weigh 44.4kg right now, but I weighed 47kg in seventh grade. Somehow I lost weight over the years! No wonder my clothes from eleven years old still fit me! Haha~.
Yes, I can tell when you're joking. ^^ But for some people it's harder to tell. My mom makes jokes in a way that looks serious to me, in situations where I wouldn't expect people to be joking.
I'm not very good at solving problems with other people, so I don't know what I'd do about your son. But if I were him, I think I would most appreciate a thorough explanation to clear up the misunderstanding as plainly as possible. Then again, maybe you've already done so. If that's the case, he seems to need some space, but he seems stubborn and I don't see a quick and easy solution.
Yup, except it's spelled 'croquet' and not 'croquette'. The former is a sport and the latter is a food. In the game of croquet, you have long hammer-like things which you use to hit a ball. It looks like golf. You're supposed to hit them through little hoops that stick up from the ground. You take turns until someone gets through all of the hoops and hits a pole with their ball. ^^
Oh, I see! I wonder what my family members will be eating during their diets. I think my mom and Gina will probably eat a lot of salad, while my dad will eat granola bars. I like eating what I do now, so I'm glad I don't have to diet. Me and Yoshi are the only ones in my family who aren't overweight! Except some distant cousins, I think. I wonder what it will be like eating different meals from the rest of my family!
Your English is very good too, Carrie! Considering it's not your native language. You seem super smart! ^^
I have the same problem with my mom! Sometimes she says things sarcastically or makes jokes, not meaning for what she said to be taken literally. But I think she's serious, and then I get really upset about it. Then, much later, she realizes that I'm upset and says, "You do know I was just joking, right?" And I didn't! I wish she would tell me everything exactly how it is. You can't beat around the bush when it comes to autistics!
Yup, like you're just gonna pick up people's pets and try to read them like they're scrolls! Lol. ^^
Yeah, I find languages to be really interesting. I like to learn new words in both English and Japanese. ^^ I'm good with things like spelling and grammar. It makes me a good proofreader! I'd love to learn kanji if I could do it in school. When we took a practice ACT test in school, I scored much higher on the English test than the other ones. If I were that good at all subjects, I could attend Harvard!
It's actually somewhat common for autistic children to be hyperlexic. "Hyperlexic" means that they are good at reading from a young age, but may have some trouble understanding spoken language. I'm like that, too. I have to listen really closely when someone is speaking in order to process their words. It helps to picture them in my head! ^^
I did it! I'm riding a panda! So cool~! ^.^ At first I didn't see the scrolls because so many people were crowded around them. Lol. Thanks for explaining it to me~. ^^
Yeah, I was really eager to learn how to read, so I practiced really hard from a young age. ^^ My sister was the exact opposite; she got frustrated with reading because it was hard for her at first. She would scream and cry about it!
またがりパンダ? Haven't heard of it! I'll try to figure it out later today. I can't usually get into the town because of the time zone difference, but I guess I'll be able to right before bed. ^^
Aw, thank you~! ^.^
I used to love reading when I was little. I already knew how to read chapter books when the other kids at school were still learning the alphabet, so the teacher used to let me just sit in the corner of the classroom reading her books all day long! ^^ It seems I read so much that I got bored of it! Lol.
Ah, Carrie, you're so cute today! I love pandas~! ^.^ I can't wait to get this month's white gacha ticket so that I can get one of those panda items. ^^
Yup, today I took my last exam, which was the math test. Usually I have trouble finishing the math test in time, because it takes a while for me to work out those problems. But I did finish this one, and I felt confident about my answers. ^^ Actually though, I didn't study for the exams at all! This semester felt easier than usual.
We had a list of novels to choose from, and they all seemed kinda boring, but I chose "Fever, 1793" by Laurie Anderson. I don't really like to read, in general. Hopefully it's at least tolerable! I get so bored trying to read things. I like writing though, sometimes.
もうすぐ名前は復活するのかしら?
もうちょっと辛抱ですよ^^
名前って何日か経たないと貰えないの?!
知らなかったわ(;'∀')

たぶん作れそうにありません(´;ω;`)
