Phew! I finished a rehearsal for the upcoming piano cafe concert next Sunday!^^

My mom's personality was also similar to mine. Both of us were shy when young, but changed to the outgoing type later. We also loved nature things so much~

It's really nice of your mom getting some clothes for her beloved daughter!^^ I think all the malls, the shopping centers, and the department stores here have playground to attract people who have kids.
They are just small ones inside, though.

You really seem to resemble your mom.@@ If your mom was 20-30 years younger, you two would look like real twins!^^
There was also lots of resemblance between my mom and me. Both of us couldn't put on weight, though we ate a lot. And our voice and the way of talking were very similar, so many people couldn't tell which one was on the phone.^^ However, our faces were very different. My sister took after our mom, but I didn't look like my mom nor my dad! Hmm...
Yup! It's difficult to tell which one is who in AKB28! Lol

I used to go shopping a lot, but now I rarely do~.

It's interesting your hair changed its color like that! It's definite you two have the same DNA as your parents.^^
I've found some of our eyes become brown as we're getting old. Many sports players have brown eyes too.
I used to have black, but now I have brown eyes. Many Japanese dye our hair brown, so you are already very Japanese~!

I forgot the name of the mall in NJ too! Lol
Well, we have malls in Japan, but not so many and they are kinda new. We have only one around this area, though there're tons of shopping centers, or department stores around.
I've never used the word "shopping center", but my younger son said he calls department store "shopping center".
We have lots of high-rise "shopping centers"; I think they just suit and fit our small land!

Yippee! I got the prettiest eyes! Lol I'll keep wearing them so that we get used to look at my face. ^^
Oh, you have brown eyes! And brown hair, right? You may look a bit like Japanese~^^

I'm coming with the green eyes again!^^ What you said is true. I made a closer look at the eyes and decided to have them, as they looked cute! However, when I put the face on, I look like I'm angry!
I wonder if I should've chosen the pink ones...but they are too cute for me. I don't want to be ぶりっ子 you know.^^

Yup! My eyes are green~. I got them at the latest event.^^ Somehow, I don't feel comfortable wearing them, though. Lol

You sure have a chance! Good for you~
It's really nice you got to know what's in her mind. You now know what to do.^^

Oh, your dad is キモいさん!Lol キモい is one of those words which only young people use. I use 気持ち悪い; the base word for キモい.^^

I made a mistake! The country where there's no homework is Finland, not Sweden!I often mix up those Northern European countries. I can't tell the difference.^^;

It's really amazing! Your Japanese sounds so modern, as you use the words like キモい and put "w" mark at the end of the sentences.^^ I'd never imagined you talk like a real Japanese girl~!

I enjoyed watching the Micheal Moore movie. I learned lots of things which are happening around the world.
In Sweden, there're only 20 classes a week at schools and there's no homework. However, those students are the smartest in the world!
One of the teacher said that homework is obsolete and children should play more and learn how to be happy.
I quite agree to that! Probably you do too~

Oh, I see! And I'm glad you got what I meant.^^
Actually, I talked to you in Japanese as if you were a native speaker. I thought you speak Japanese so naturally!
So my latest Japanese message to you was soooo advanced! Maybe I should've thought about using simple sentences~.
You already knew the difference between English and Japanese! I like the straightforward way of talking in English.^^

I forgot to write about another thing!
We say バラ色 when someone is happy. So I used "rosy" in English, but it didn't make sense to you at all.^^;
Sorry, I just mixed up, thinking you might know "バラ色" as you really know a lot of Japanese!

This is what I wrote in Japanese.^^
<<<
Oh, I misunderstood what you wrote~^^;
You are right. You never wrote your daddy had eaten the whole cheesecake. You just said ”くれなかった”. So I just imagined that he didn't share and had it by himself.^^
Many times, we imply something without directly saying that. This is a big difference between English and Japanese. Anyway, I'm happy to hear you had the cheesecake too~^^
>>>

We tend to avoid saying directly, and the listeners try to understand what they actually mean.
Lol

早とちり~^^;

It's really interesting to hear what happens to minorities at a different place! I've shared your story to my hubby, who is actaully a homophobia. I'm sure he'll change his mind little by little!

You really love the sakura! I have a fan printed sakura. I wish I could give it to you so that you can decorate it in your sakura room.^^

Hooray!!! Good for you.^^ I'm so happy to hear your good news. You would be living in a rosy world now~^^

それにお父さん、ダイエット中じゃ…。^^;

I was happy and surprised to hear that sexual minorities are well accepted in your area. It's really progressive!
That's why you are so open about the topic; I guess many Japanese feel a bit awkword to hear about it from a person next to them.
Somehow, some transvestites appear on TV often as talents and they are popular here.
I think we'll have more awareness about those people and learn there's no difference as humans.

Oh, Japanese foods are all so delicious. I guarantee!
Come in spring time so that you can also see sakura. I'll show you around!

Hope you sort out your girlfriend matter all right~^^

I think marriage equality is really important! Not many Japanese are conscious about it, though.
I heard almost 1/20 are sexual minorities in Japan. So many of them!
A part of Tokyo has decided on marriage equality quite recently. So did some companies!
I hope everyone has an equal right for everything in the future~^^

You like those June bride items! I don't really fancy them, maybe because I've already worn them at my wedding.^^
BTW, what "marriage equality" means? The same as 同性婚?

I watched a TV program called 世界!ニッポン行きたい人応援団 last night and people who love Japan come from abroad and experience what they wanted to do in Japan.
An 18-year-old Partuguese girl who loves Sumo came to Japan and she spent lots of time with Japanese Sumo wrestlers on the program. She seemed to be really happy being in Japan!
I couldn't help but think of you while watching it. You can be on the program one day~!^^
What do you like to do the most, if you're here?

To tell you the truth, I've never listen to PONPONPON. Lol
It's great you memorised all the lyrics! You are more Japanese than I am.^^

Oh, I got it. Then she also likes you and wants to be your girlfriend!
If she feels comfortable in that way, she can't change her feeling even her parents don't like it.
Hope she'll tell you what's in her mind soon and things will be settled as they should.^^

Oh, I should practice singing "PONPONPON" ^^

Sorry to hear that you're not able to talk to your significant(is she?) at the moment.
Maybe she likes you as a friend, but not for a girlfriend?
I used to be like that. When my male friends wanted me as their girlfriend, I felt uncomfortable as they came too close to me. So I stopped talking to them for a while. I liked them as my friends, though.
But things might change for the better in your case~!

Yup! I think we talked about "repdigit" almost a year ago. Time flies~

Oh, then crocs came from the U.S.! Many people wore them 2 years ago, and maybe less last year.
It's a shame they became out of date, if you were comfortable with them.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! Your dad's shoe size! So huge!
My younger son has large feet; his shoe size is 28.5cm and he can't choose shoes very well, as 27cm is the largest with many shoes! My son's feet are large enough for me. ^^;

Well, "4" is called "angel number" and 444 means thousands of angels are around you and try to support you.
So you can count on them; they'll make your wish~^^
I often saw 4:44 when I looked at a clock too. Oh, and I bought a pedometer and often saw 4444 when I happend to check my steps! Lol

I'm 162cm tall! I'm a bit taller than average Japanese women. I guess around 158cm would be average.
As you said, we don't sell wide shoes very much, but shoes called Crocs have been very popular.
http://www.crocs.co.jp/girls-footwear/girls-footwear,ja_JP,sc.html
They are like men's sandals made of rubber and very wide. We wear them with or without socks.
Oh, I'd love to see your dad's shoes! Americans are taller than the Japanese. That may be the season you have larger feet!^^

Whoa! I was so surprised to know that you weigh 44.4kg, as I was 44.4kg last year!@@
I weighed 47kg before that, but somehow I lost weight and kept 44.4kg for a long time. I called it "angel number"~^^ Maybe your mom is familiar with it!
I'm now 47kg and back to normal. My body type didn't change after pregnancy~
How tall are you, Ana-chan? We might have the same height too. Lol

And your shoe size? Me 23.5cm; an average size for Japanese women.
I found many Americans have large feet. Many elementary school kids in the U.S. had bigger feet than me, though they were much shorter. I wondered why~

I see. Croquet is really like "gate-ball" in Japan.
According to my dictionary, "ゲート・ボール" was designed in Japan in 1947. Maybe someone took the idea of croquet and designed it!

It's so mysterious that you are only one in the family who's not overweight. Many cases, all the family has the same body type as they eat the same stuff.
Maybe you use your brain much harder than the rest of your family, as the brain needs lots of energy~^^

I heard gluten-free foods are also good for diet. One of my nico friends tried it, and she lost weight within a couple of days!
